Air New Zealand drops plans to outsource to India

Air New Zealand, New Zealand's official flag carrier, has pulled back from outsourcing finance jobs to India. The airline had plans to lay off 70 finance workers, expecting to save about $NZ2 million by outsourcing these jobs to India. However, stating that India would not fit their requirements, the company has shelved their offshoring plans altogether.
