HP to expand BPO operations in India

Hewlett Packard (HP), the world's largest information technology corporation, is planning to augment its employee base in India by 20 per cent over the next year. This move comes in the wake of extant rumors about MNCs selling off their India offshore business. Refuting all reports of winding up its BPO unit in India, the company said that its business unit in India has global capabilities to provide an extensive range of services and will only be seeing heightened activity in the future.
