Indian BPO industry moves to level 3
 
  The $9 billion Indian Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry has moved to the third-level of services. BPO 3.0 intends to focus on Business Transformation, with vendors performing as active partners to their client companies and adding value to their decision-making. The outsourcing industry has come a long way in India, moving from its first generation of amateur services to the quality-oriented business model of the second generation to a long-term, risk-sharing focused model in its third generation.
