Corporates in the US to outsource employee healthcare to India

In a pleasant new chapter to the Indian outsourcing saga, corporates in the US are planning to offshore their employee healthcare to India. With health insurance becoming increasingly expensive in the US, the low-cost, high-quality medical procedures offered by India are proving to be irresistible to American companies, including those on the Fortune 500 list. By offshoring to efficient Indian hospitals, a price advantage of around 85% to 90% is estimated to be on the cards.
