Indian subcontinent remains top outsourcing destination

The booming BPO industry in India is on an upward swing, sustaining the country's position as the top outsourcing destination. According to the National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom), the income from business process outsourcing (BPO) has increased tenfold over the past decade in India. The industry is set to achieve a revenue target of $60 billion by 2010, up from an estimated $47.8 billion this year and revenues of $4.8 billion in 1998.
