Apollo Hospital to acquire American BPOs

Indian healthcare supremo Apollo Hospital Enterprises is all set to acquire two US-based medical business process outsourcing firms as part of its expansion drive in the healthcare outsourcing scene. The deal, estimated at $180 million, will have Apollo Hospitals providing medical facilities and medical solutions over the internet to hospitals overseas. It will also give Apollo increased access to the $2 trillion US healthcare industry.
